This painting was meant to depict a scene from my story... The two have travelled a long way to reach the city of Sarvegne (sar-vey-nia). They have dressed in regional costumes, which are usually over-decorated with frequent use of gems and stones. The girl comes from a totally different land on the other side of the planet and is somehow bewildered by the new sight. The man belongs to a nearby place, and he brought them here to do some researches in an ancient library. The girl has a good knowledge of the languages, history and astronomy, and what they're looking for concerns both of them. |
